Send a thank you gift to a soldier
Every year on December 25 the majority of Americans pause and enjoy the Christmas holiday. While Christmas has very clear ties and one of the largest religious celebrations for the Christian Church it is also a cultural holiday, with celebratory activities enjoyed by Christians and non Christians alike. Christmas is a time of generosity, love and celebration. For children young and old it is a time to give and receive holiday cheer and enjoy traditions new and old. This year, we have added a new Send a gift to the Troops campaign. This program helps customers send a Christmas Thank You gift to an anonymous soldier. We have a list of soldiers that we can send gifts to as well as their wish lists. If you are interested in sending a military care package this year. Just send us an email or contact us at 800.846.1078.

Happy Hanukah !
Hanukah, also spelled Chanukah, is the Jewish Festival of Lights. This holiday follows the Hebrew lunar calendar and can fall anywhere from late November thru late December. In 2008, Hanukah will begin at sundown on December 21 running thru December 29. The holiday is marked with family meals, festive parties, exchanging small gifts, and lighting the menorah every evening. Many children enjoy not only the gift exchange but also exchanging Hanukah gelt (chocolate coins) and playing dreidel. Labels: Chanukah, Hanukah
