Say Thank you to your Realtor
It isn't hard coming up with many Real Estate Closing ideas and if you happen to know a wonderful Realtor or are working with a one on the buying of your brand new home or selling of your current one, maybe you would like to show your appreciation for his/her hard work and give him/her a theme based gift basket.
First, choose your basket. Make sure it is large enough to hold everything. Also make it a nice, classic looking basket. That way it will match any decor and would be suitable for the Realtor or real estate professional to take home or to take back to his/her office.
Next, find some really nice tissue paper to cover the bottom of the basket. You will need it after you place all of your gifts in the basket.
Now begin adding your gifts. Here are a few suggestions on some you may want to give.
1. Gourmet cheeses, crackers and wine This way the Realtor can make a toast to all the hard work that he/she accomplished.
2. Gifts that will help him/her during his/her job: Nice, executive style pens and pencils, leather bound notebooks of all sizes, a new pocket calendar, a new calculator, erasures, paper clips, a miniature stapler, and if he/she did an exceptional job, maybe a new cell phone or a new MP3 player so he/she can upload his/her favorite songs to play during all those endless hours of travel.
3. A basket filled with flavored coffees, cookies, cup cakes or you could even do something a bit more healthy and give a basket filled with fresh fruits of all varieties.
Remember to place a little bit of the extra tissue around the items in your basket and then add a pretty card and possibly a picture of your family in front of your home, once you all have moved in and have gotten settled.
Creating a basket to say thank you to your Realtor is fast and easy. Let them know how much you appreciate all their hard work.Labels: house warming ideas, housewarming gifts, realtor thank you gifts

New mother gifts - cherish her
With the birth of a child, many women's' lives take on a whole new dimension. In addition to caring for a new baby, many women return to the work force and the other stresses of daily life still exist. With the birth of a child, the family may be showered with gifts for the new baby and while each and every gift is loved and treasured, a new mom also needs to feel loved and treasured. What better way to show her that she is still important, loved and cherished than to select her a new mother gift.
Each new mother is different, but what they all have in common is a lack of sleep, lack of time, a desire to bond with their new baby and the need to be seen as themselves and not just someone's mother.
While it is fun to shop for baby clothes and toys, a very special present for a new mom is something that will pamper her, offer her a luxurious experience and bring a sense of calm and relaxation. It could be a simple basket filled with chocolate, coffee, teas and other yummy and dreamy snacks. The perfect afternoon pick me up or after dinner treat. A selection of scented candles, to boost her mood or offer her a chance to wind down at the end of the day. A selection of bath and body products, so that she can indulge in a relaxing soak in a tub full of bubbles, might be just the thing.
While any or all of these gifts are pure indulgence, what is even more important, is offering to help her carve out a bit of time to actually enjoy them. The perfect addition would be a coupon she could redeem for some babysitting, an offer to hold the baby, while she takes a relaxing bath and a nap one afternoon. A gift certificate for a cleaning service, which allow her some free time - during the baby's naptime, a time she might have normally devoted to cleaning can now be freed up so that she can indulge at bit.
Regardless of the exact gift, the heartfelt gesture and the offer of some time to indulge herself, will make any new mom feel truly loved and appreciated.Labels: ideas for new moms, New mom, personalized baby gifts
