When planning a baby shower, whether you are the mother-to-be, or a friend or family member, baby shower themes are very important because they can make or break the atmosphere of the party. It is not an insult to highlight cultural differences and celebrate them! And if you do not want to decorate with a theme from the country of the child's birth, having a regular theme like Noah's Ark, or baby footprints is just as nice, and fun. What is important is that you make sure to have a party for an adopting parent!
