The custom of holding an autumnal harvest festival goes back centuries. In North America, the time for our annual harvest festival is November. In Canada, Thanksgiving is celebrate on the second Monday of October and in the United States is the fourth Thursday of November. Regardless of which day of the year, Thanksgiving is a day for food, family and reflection on all the many blessing the year has brought. In 2008, Thanksgiving was celebrated on October 13 in Canada and will be celebrated November 27 in the United States.
